Essex Meadows Receives LEED Gold Certification

Essex Meadows has received LEED Gold Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for its sustainable upgrades.

The Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Program honors buildings for the way they are constructed, renovated, and operated according to a preset list of guidelines. Essex Meadows, a 318,936 square-foot facility, received the gold certification for many green initiatives, including its lighting upgrades, solar array, geothermal heating, low-flow plumbing, and an ozone injection system.
