Part time approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings & weekends
The Utility Worker is responsible, in accordance with policies and procedures that are established, performs a number of kitchen activities including washing and sanitizing of pots, dishes and carts; operating dish washing machines; general cleaning duties while maintaining kitchen sanitation; stocking and storing food/ nonfood supplies; receiving, storing, and delivering supplies and food trays within facility. Assisting the cook staff when required.
Part time weekends, Saturday & Sunday 7:00pm-7:00am, every other weekend
Part time nights, Monday-Friday
Ensures that nursing care is provided, staffing is maintained, and all programs, policies, and medical regimens are followed. This individual assists the Head Nurse and Director of Nursing Services in a manner that supports and enhances the goals of the department.
Full time evenings, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday
Part time weekends, Saturday & Sunday 7:00pm-7:30am, 7:00am-7:30pm, every other weekend
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), in accordance with established policies and procedures, assists the nursing staff in providing care for the residents of the Health Center. The CNA is responsible to feed, bathe, dress, groom, exercise, position, turn, and assist in all the activities of daily living with any special function or need of the resident.

The Servers at Essex Meadows enable our residents to savor the culinary excellence of our kitchen, in the very social atmosphere of friends and neighbors, at ease in the formal Main Dining Room or the relaxed Pub. Mealtimes are most often the highlight of the day for our residents and deserve the attention to detail and friendly hospitality that makes a memorable occasion.
You will need to master a set of skills that include the Steps of Service, menu knowledge, basic food preparation knowledge, product identification and, most importantly, communication. This position requires a certain amount of physical stamina and coordination. A pleasant and friendly personality is essential. Experience is preferable, but willing to train promising applicants.
